Film by Tom Palazzolo made in the 1980s with his film students from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, one of whom purchased for $1.00 a roll of film from a Market vendor that contained 1940s footage of the Maxwell Street Market, that is incorporated into the film. Also incorporated in the film is footage of “Chicken Charlie” performing with his chicken on Halsted Street near Maxwell Street, that Palazzolo captured on film in the 1960s. (1982, RT 38:58)
