In conjunction with the exhibition “Poor Man’s Paradise,” Project Onward will be a vendor at the Maxwell Street Market on August 10, 2025, selling prints and artwork related to the history of the market, as well as other artwork from our studio.
The exhibition “Poor Man’s Paradise” at Project Onward (1200 W 35th St, 4th Floor) includes the work of eight different artists (Michael Bryant, Bill Douglas, Andrew Hall, R.J. Juguilon, Fernando Ramirez, Alita Van Hee, Ricky Willis, and George Zuniga). The paintings, drawings, and sculptures visualize their own Maxwell Street memories, as well as explore the place’s cultural legacy. The artwork will be exhibited alongside original artifacts from the history of the Market, generously loaned by the Maxwell Street Foundation.
