An exhibition of The Maxwell Street Foundation Collection, a curated collection of photographs from the Maxwell Street Market by prominent photographers, will be on display at the Harold Washington Library in Chicago at 400 S. State Street in Chicago during the month of June. The opening event will be a Gallery Talk led by Ed Hirschland, editor of the Collection portfolio, on Friday, June 1 from noon to 1:00pm.  A Gallery Talk will be led by Maxwell Street Foundation board member Peter Pero at noon on each Wednesday in June.  Another great stop to make if you are visiting the annual Chicago Blues Festival!
